Today's Archie comic name-drops Linux - http://ur1.ca/9umb6

@hook well, so i end up with the "big three" Fedora / OpenSuSE / Mandriva with that first chooser.
-
@jrepin but let me give you a little challenge: can you find, on the kde websites, info why you should become a member and what members do?
-
@jrepin yes, you probably should. I'd sponsor you based on our previous meetings at Akademies of old.
-
@nightrose you are a wily trickster who is trying to get me involved in KDE things again. Fie!
-
@nightrose also, neither the membership page nor the questionnaire point out what it *means* to be a KDE e.V. member
-
@nightrose Interesting that Àlex Fiestas sorts to the end of the membership list :)
-
@nightrose that mile is lonely place (and i agree with that bullet point), but it's still a pretty glib and fluffy article
-
Back from two weeks bicycle vacation (tent camping with the kids). That's what got in the way of Akademy.
-
Onderweg in Winterswijk ontzettend fijn geholpen door Wesselink fietsenmakers; ook passanten met een niet-verkoopbare vraag helpen = service
-
@nightrose y'alls have fun (and function) at Akademy
-
red hot chili peppers playing nijmegen tonight, and i can hear the warm-up act from across the river, 4 miles away.
-
Days like this i wish for a strongly-typed python collection, to avoid me putting my Foos in a BarDictionary
-
Much gardening - the beans are not coming up right, but the spinach is doing fine. Then broke my bike's chain on the way home.
-
Silly hot to be debugging deadlock / lock timeout in transactions.
-
@ivancukic wood block for me :) although at GC I *did* write a song for the bugsquad.
-
@nightrose but I want the *grumpy* "no, I'm not going, darn you all" version of the logo. Usually Paul Adams applies his art skills to it.
-
There's no "not going to Akademy" graphic this year, is there?
-
PtBS has the more spectaccular show, but Binary is more accessible, more human by far. Would see B gain, for PtBS I'll buy the CD.
-
"heroes" easily best one of that set, "turquoise" a close second.
