I can confirm (as indicated on @marinamartin 's blog that identica SMS notifications do NOT work well with 3g iPhone using AT&T service.

Having trouble turning off SMS notifications from identi.ca. I've unchecked the SMS box in Settings and deleted my number with no effect.
