I just wrote up a shell script that creates a skeleton layout for an EPUB ebook. There's a bug or two, but it works.

Are there any 3rd party SL viewers for Linux that can stream Ogg Vorbis/Theora? LLMedia viewers don't count because it's not on Linux yet.
