Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I needed a replacement for the webserver I just destroyed and I am better with debian than arch !linux.

It means I had to reinstall the only box available - and that was the only arch linux I have right now (other one died from broken Harddisk)

Tried to upgrade from #ubuntu hardy to lucid (LTS to LTS). All my software is gone including ftp-client, SSH, wget and libssl too. !linux

And now the SSH-connection broke down as it always does. Nothing can be done until tuesday.

I manage to kill !linux with things everybody sais it's safe while I never have problem with dangerous stuff.

@sebastiang Fair enough, but nowadays nobody is new to GUI interfaces, thus making software centres easier than the CLI for most people.
