anybody else feels that the ping.fm website and it's settings etc. is overly complex and non-intuitive?

i am confused. ping.fm tells me there are "status updates" and "micro-blogging" posting methods. whats the difference here?

#gwibber had issues with reauthorizing me after upgrading to natty; took 3 attempts to get it to work

update-manager tells me it takes about 5 hours to unpack and configure my 2594 packages ... guess I will go get dinner first
