@aseigo That plugin is interesting, I'll check it out. I still would rather have smooth content resizing but that is complicated to achieve
-
@aseigo You're correct, the wm has little control over that. But I think it is important to expose that issue and not sweep it under the rug
-
@mgraesslin I don't know if I would call that smooth resizing, take a look at all of that ugly blank space that shows up as the resize lags!
-
Picked up TimeVault development again, it's certainly been a while. Got some ideas that involve simplification, which is a good thing.

@jucato try running kdevelop with '-graphicssystem raster', that really helped my puny core solo, intel graphics laptop
-
Trying /home on a separate HD (not just a separate partition). So far, way better system responsiveness when I'm working with files. Yay!
-
Feeling like maybe I should nuke my configuration and start afresh. I've had this $HOME since at least KDE 4.2 and parts may be older
-
Haha.. from a purchase: "Offer expires December May 31, 2010 or while supplies last." So which is it, December or May?

Playing with the Canon EOS D40. Wow, such a beautiful SLR camera. Also, importing photos with !kde Digikam is great, really good software.

GuitarTuner plasmoid has standard tuning but also 18 presets OR choose your own tuning. Check it out, vote for it! http://bit.ly/bjiX95 !kde

Hmm, CUDA programming is more tedious than I first imagined.
-
Finally getting the hang of how CUDA works. The emulated device is a godsend, because I don't have a cuda capable card here (6600GT) #cuda
-
Experimenting with 9 virtual desktops, tied to plasma activities. I'm definitely wanting the next gen plasma activities
-
Guitar Tuner plasmoid 1.3.2 released! Now with preset tunings and a much better config interface. http://tinyurl.com/guitartuner1-3-2 !kde
-
Also, guitartuner plasmoid is nearing another release. Newly redesigned configuration layout, preset tunings and more goodness !kde
-
@skreech2 No kopete but thanks for that idea. I somehow managed to get it blazing fast while still having everything I need. go figure
-
I've got a remarkably slow krunner plugin. Testing to find out which one(s) is the culprit. !kde
-
I'm back to using rememberthemilk again. Hopefully this time it will stick. !rtm
