Skeptic explanation of palm reading.. if any.. more details inside…?
Okay now I’m a bit freaked out. I’ve never truely believed in the supernatureal and today was a weird experience… My friend went to a local palm reader today, and I went along… I thought these things were vague, but hers wasn’t!

Somehow the psychic was able to tell my friend the initials of her ex b/f, the exact date they broke up.. The girl whom he left her for’s first name and last initial, and this was a shocker, that the girl he left her for was a witch (which I thought was BS anyway)… Very very confusing to someone like me, and also slightly offensive.. I hate predeterminism.. it implies a lack of free will….

Don’t tell me this was cold reading… it was to specific… But I owe my sincerist most heartfelt thanks to anyone who can give me a rational explanation…
Okay, I forgot to mention that the visit was completely random, we stopped by the psychic’s place of work with no prior appointment..

Two ways to do it: cold reading (with leading questions: I bet the initials were NOT the first letters the reader mentioned and I’ll bet ya the reader did NOT say that they were the “initial of the last name” more like, “I’m seeing the letter T, is there a person in your life with the first or last name beginning with T?”

The second way was when yer friend made the appointment, the reader got on google and found their blog or facebook page. The internet has done wonders for the charlatans…..

palm reading and its scary accuracy?
Okay,
so i went to this one ladies house (which my parents know) and she had some friends over, and there was this man who claimed to be the best palm reader in his country and so for fun i got my palm read…

okay, so he decided to do private hand readings for free for who ever was interested,

when my turn came it was really frightening for me…he told me exactly about my past, and I come from a very conservative catholic family so any pre-marital relations are forbidden in my house hold and society here.

So this man told me that I have been sexually active with my boyfriend (the truth) and I ofcourse denied it and said no way….not true…
he was like bull Sh!t, and he was like i can even tell you the details of when you first did it with him…and he told me EXACTLY where we were when we first had sex, which was 1 year ago, he told me where and when and what time, it was really scary (the only ppl that know about my sex life is me and my bf- and he isnt even from the same group of ppl no way he wouldve said anything)

so there is absolutely no way he couldve heard it from elsewhere….
my question is, how did he know this stuff? is he in touch with spirits or the devil or something??

also as i was leaving he shook my hand…..and later i learned that that was another method of finding out the truth for him……so apparently he was still reading me while he shook my hand, what does this have to do with anything?

I dont know why but i feel like its connected to satan or something….black magic or something like that….

anyone know..?? what do you guys think?

Nope not even close, and it was VERY detailed the man even knew what I was wearing that day, and what *activities* we began with and how it ended, how it felt, and what my bf was wearing, we were at a very unexpected place to have sex, so to know that….was impossible but he knew it…

Let me guess, it took place in the back of your/his car, you were nervous, and your boyfriend used a condom. He’s just good at reading people duh. Some people get that good, he may have supplied more details, but thats because he could look at you, and read your reactions to things. It has nothing to do with spirits or Satan.

ok i will be honest with you. i am black magick,hoodoo and voodoo practitioner and since beginning these practices i have become very psychic into myself and others, too. i admit i have also felt very close to the deity satan aka pan.
these things are tempting.

I feel it is connected to evil. I also feel that some people are blessed/cursed with these types of gifts, and it is easy to use for evil. I also feel that if our futures were supposed to be presented to us, it would be.

Since it is just a Palm machine, I think Sony did not modify and break the OS so the unmodified Palm Desktop should be enough. Download from Palm’s site.
