  1. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Commodore 64

The syntax highlighter #pygments now supports CBM BASIC V2 & ca65 assembler sources. Examples: http://ur1.ca/d2ytz !c64

about 3 months ago from web
  2. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Project Euler.net , Commodore 64

    Solved !projecteuler problem 7 on a !c64 with a C program with a runtime of ≈1m10s.

about 6 months ago from web at Berlin, Land Berlin, Germany
  3. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Samuel Clemens Rewtapello

@screwtape '''\'''''' is basically the same as '''\'''' ''. It is two adjacent string literals where the second one is the empty string.

  4. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Raspberry Pi

Upgraded my !raspberrypi from 8GB class 4 SD card to a 32GB class 10 one :-)

about 6 months ago from web at Berlin, Land Berlin, Germany
  5. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Kesara Rathnayake

Depends almost entirely on the amount of memory in your computer. :-)

  6. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Samuel Clemens Rewtapello

I don't think there is one.

about 7 months ago from web at Berlin, Land Berlin, Germany in context
  7. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , reality

@reality Isn't 200 lines for a function more worrisome than the (proper) use of `not`‽

  8. kudlaty kudlaty Kuro Sawai

♻ @kuro: Wann das letzte mal eine #AGB gelesen, die #Laune machte? Hier ist eine: http://ur1.ca/9u72x

  9. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python

@tinod Preparing the code to be installed with pip and creating an entry at the !python package index is state of the art I think.

  10. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python

@tinod So does dd. And so do the usual programs to copy CDs like XCDRoast or K3b. If you want to read a file you need to access it.

  11. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Morten Juhl-Johansen Zölde-Fejér

@mjjzf Just open the device „file” and copy the contents into a regular file: http://ur1.ca/aodyi . That's more or less what dd is doing.

  12. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Morten Juhl-Johansen Zölde-Fejér

@mjjzf Why Bash? Calling dd from #Python doesn't need a shell. But why not read the CD "file" anyway? Nothing special about that.

RT @tichodroma Version 0.11 of the nice mirco framework Bottle released. http://ur1.ca/aiig5 !Python

  15. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Scott Banwart

@sbanwart It makes a difference to me if it's just a nuisance to make the compiler happy or if it helps me understanding program structure.

about 9 months ago from Choqok in context
  16. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Scott Banwart

@sbanwart Fortran-esque would be whitespace to make it easier for the compiler, in !Python whitespace makes it easier for the human reader.

  17. kudlaty kudlaty Michał Andrzej Woźniak

True! :) ♻ @rysiek: I think it's rather good #linux is a bit rough around the edges, at least #Apple won't sue for rounded corners.

  18. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch

    RT @iurien I installed a WordPress blog that runs on Raspbery Pi - http://iurie.info/ !raspberrypi #wordpress #personalserver

about 10 months ago from api
  19. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Project Euler.net , Commodore 64

!projecteuler problem 6 was too easy — without really thinking, a BASIC one liner, running <1s, on a !c64

about 11 months ago from web at Berlin, Land Berlin, Germany
  20. Marc Rintsch Marc Rintsch Python , Cyber Killer

@cyberkiller They don't *have* to. And py2 officially getting dropped doesn't mean it won't be used anywhere anymore.
