Oh, they also offer Habari hosting.... Hope the Status.Net hosting works easier/better than my old pixelinternet one....

There are other options, of course, but since I already signed up with them (for WP) it's logical to try that option first

Oh, I only now noticed this [gandi simple hosting] "We don't support websockets." That makes it a no-go for pump.io, right?

Folks: please don't use scraper scripts. If your backup doesn't work, let me know, and I'll make one for you.

And there will be public backups on archive.org before identi.ca moves over. So if you can wait for that, even better.

@evan there is nothing 'mean' about that. it's just people trying to get at *their* data, especially because the backup will be incomplete

If that is a 'conversation' it's a nice illustration why I do NOT want pump.io. what it really is is a web page with comments.

And a web page without a meaningful title, at that. pump.io will not be very accessible like that.
