@twhirl that's great! thanks for adding identi.ca support your awesome! and thanks for a great application!
-
Thank you @twhirl! This Identi.ca support rocks! Now if only multiple accounts on multiple services could be integrated into one window...
-
Also, @twhirl, is it possible to change the terminology for Identi.ca accounts (i.e., dents, not tweets)?
-
@twhirl great! thank you for that! =P
-
@ben yes, this is a preview, the release version will fully support identi.ca terminology
-
with all these @twhirl windows, I definitely need a second or a bigger screen (or MacBook)... *envy*
-
@twhirl if only i could get Adobe AIR to run on X86_64 ubuntu :(
-
@4braham I'd be happy with stable AIR on 32bit. I've completely given up on it...for now.
-
testing from @twhirl
-
@myriam hahah I have so many alerts poppping up now. I need to turn off the google talk one
-
@twhirl is working great here on identi.ca
-
Trying out new @twhirl for identi.ca, but alas XMPP doesn't connect to my server, "no cipher suites in common"
-
I can never spell @twhirl right :)
-
@twhirl just noticed that unfollowing doesn't work with identi.ca yet -- is that a bug, or is it not implemented by identi.ca's api yet?
-
@twhirl odd -- just noticed that my unfollow request did work: but the status at the bottom of twhirl says "error un-following"
-
@twhirl bug in twhirl for identi.ca - click name to see their list, then click icon to go to profile, but goes to twitter
-
@twhirl i get no more dents from who i unfollowed, but he's still in my friends list in twhirl.
-
hmmm, @twhirl tries to open links using my text editor instead of my browser, that's a bit of fail... :(
-
Have I mentioned how much I love using @twhirl to communicate here? If not... I just did.
-
@twhirl: Having trouble getting twhirl to save passwords. Remember Password is checked, but so far it's being quite forgetful. I'm on Ubuntu
-
@snapl That is, the latest Adobe AIR for Linux pre-release builds don't support that feature yet.
-
@snapl I have not purchased a Freerunner, but follow the list. lots of people use it as a phone. but FR s/w is still very rough around edges
-
@ben So much for full cross-platform compatibility in AIR. Bah. Oh well. Thanks for the info. Seems I should expect as much from Adobe. :)
-
@stevegillmor I'm holding my breath for first-class AIR as much as I'm holding it for a first-class Flash plugin for 64 bit Linux.
-
@snapl yeah I'm actually slumming for moonlight :)
-
@stevegillmor I hope Moonlight wakes Adobe up. Could be the jolt that Adobe needs to get their crap together and make flash work better.
-
@stevegillmor Nice post. Seems like @ev would have learned the economics of abundance, rather than scarcity. More XMPP partners = growth.
-
@cgerrish yes let's hope he finds encouragement to open for real
-
jesus, i love the twhirl Version for Identi. Very nice one, thanks @twhirl
-
reading all the feedback from last night about @twhirl, identi.ca and XMPP
-
@marcokaiser It's good to finally see XMPP support in Twhirl in the hands of the masses.
-
@fritzy it definitely is! great job on that part, my friend
-
@marcokaiser @fritzy you guys rock! Thanks to both of you for making Twhirl identi.ca possible, and thanks to @bear for server side support
-
Well that worked. So, @twhirl, I think you can add Linux with AIR Alpha 1 to your supported platforms list
-
@andyk it works, but it is lacking some features (storing passwords, e.g.), so I refrain from officially supporting it for now.
-
@twhirl ah. I didn't think of storing passwords (Being paranoid, I prefer to keep passwords in my head only)
-
@twhirl Not storing passwords is a bug in Air for Linux then? That has been annoying me for some weeks now.
