    my gnome notification popups aren't flush with the top panel, they float some ways below it. any ideas where to look? !ubuntu

      @imnichol roughly 100 pixels, somewhat around the height of the notification pop-up itself.

      @imnichol karmic, indicator package is 0.2.0-0ubuntu2. I migrated over from kubuntu-plasma-netbook with apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

      @sirpengi Those are the "anytime" notifications. Notifications that need to be displayed in real time (volume status etc.) appear at the top
