     @nemo I just force all my terms to declare xterm-256colors, and force screen and tmux to declare screen-256colors.

     @penryu I use screwtapes term selection hack now, and is a good thing. my point is about defaults and options though, not blackmagic configs

     @nemo FreeBSD is the only system that chokes on it, and then only if I nest terminal muxers. OpenBSD… well, let's not go there.

     @nemo 256color detractors tend to fall back to "Why aren't you using {xterm,gnome-terminal,gvim}?!" That's just not the Unix answer.
