      @sheytan sure, q3 is open-source, just compile it and throw you data in (or apt-get install openarena)

      @evgeni is openarena compatible with quak3? Can i play via network while having Openarena and quake?

      @sheytan iirc not, as it uses different data files than quake3. maybe you can replace that though, never tested.

      @dek @sheytan ioquake is just the engine as complete games there are : openarena, tremulous world of padman, urban terror and smoking guns

      @sheytan install ioquake3 as root (~/ install causes 1.32 errors), then copy pak0.pk3 to the baseq3 folder. I use it for lan parties.
