     @mirsal doesn't look like it will be open source, just that they will work with some opensource groups. I doubt they will open the protocol.

     @radmen: we have to wait and see. but i'm sceptical, i don't believe they will ever open the protocol (i don't use #Skype for that reason).

     @kone4040 I think so too. I guess they will even restrict the redistribution of the closed #skype library when opening the client code.
