Did some memcache testing before leaving work with 3 cache servers up and it looks good. now to think about possible laconica memcache use.

@mikenz A howto on installing Laconica on xampp would be a great help.

@masaka Sorry, I thought applying the patch fixed the bug. I've re-opened it (you could, too... it's a wiki), let me know what else to do.

@evan, just use mb_strlen() instead of strlen(). It may require mb_internal_encoding('UTf8') depending on system default encoding

@bugabundo I was hoping for an option at least in the settings to choose if a user wants the acknowledgement of the msgs posted through IM,

@bugabundo if that can't be the default behaviour. Kind of like "tabrez following tabrez." I would prefer it to be default setting though.

@evan any hint on why I get XMPP messages of my own posts every so often? Normally doesn't happen, but today and yesterday I get it.
