   The XML version of HTML 5 is called XHTML5 (http://is.gd/b5N6)? But it's not a successor to XHTML2. Really! (I miss RSS version numbering.)

     @bobdc, it makes sense only when you realize that XHTML2 isn't a successor to XHTML1.

     @hober i always recommend HTML 4.01 Strict for better compatibility with the future HTML5. XHTML is a dead end.
