     @m0n0 Personally, I use !bzr because it's much easier than git and it stays out of my way. I moved to it from #svn a long time ago.

     @m0n0 if you use ppa use bzr. If not then I prefer git myself.

     @m0n0 you should also throw Mercurial into the mix, or how about some lesser knowns like darcs, GNU arch, Fossil, Codeville, and SVK.
