     @and3k yes, I disabled vesafb. What kernel version you're using? I'm on !gentoo -2.6.30-r5 ( #KMS )

     @andrears I'm using !gentoo -2.6.31-r4 with the #kms / drm patch from #fedora

     @and3k maybe this is the problem, I've read somewhere #KMS didn't work correctly to some people in 2.6.30, I'll try !gentoo -2.6.31
