identi.ca is one place my wife and son don't yet hang out. So it's one place I can escape and be myself. Heheh.

@scobleizer So that's why you were posting naked pictures last night... oh god. *unsubscribes*
-
@scobleizer escaping from one public forum to another. Don't you ever want to be anonymous?
-
@scobleizer and apparently not get jumped on as soon as you pop your head in. :)
-
@deerpig it's nice being anonymous once in a while, yes. But I find more good things come to me when I just am myself.
-
@scobleizer You're not yourself around your kids or wife?
-
@narkeeso I'm just kidding about the wife and kid thing. They know where to find me. And, anyway, won't these be in Google soon?
-
@scobleizer Recently when someone's FF cluster you linked out from, then moments later did whiteboard Qik to explain routing-my mind boggled
-
@micah: I call this the World Wide Talk Show. We all are hosts and it goes on all day and night! :-)
-
@scobleizer CONTINUED...Even for early adopters, things can get so dizzy so fast - exciting stuff, but exhaustion-prone too...
-
@scobleizer welcome to identica. You're with the cool kids now...lol
-
@micah yeah, I am just reading all my Google Reader feeds and it's just very exhausting. Finding a way to add value to this world is hard.
-
@karoli I thought all the cool kids are over on Plurk. I was just coming here to hang out with the geeks and the scientists.
-
@scobleizer I'm not used to seeing people in North America online at 8 AM SAST... got insomnia?
-
@scobleizer I think the geeks and scientists ARE the cool kids. Plurk is not my cuppa tea. horizontal timelines confuse.
-
@andyk It's only 11:22 p.m. in California, so not too late. If I'm still here at 1 am make sure I get to bed because we have WorkFastTV
-
@scobleizer I've always loved talk shows--as a kid hearing AM radio talk, I wanted to be that talkshow guy-I guess it came true unexpectedly
-
@karoli I stand by my assertion: Plurk is for the Fisher Price Kids - the short bus of microblogs ;-)
-
@exador23 LOL! That assessment of Plurk is awesome "the short bus of microblogs" :)
-
@exador23 re: plurk could not agree more
-
@jacklhasa added to seesmic
-
@tjgillies As I said, ain't for me. But a bunch of my friends have gone down the Plurk rabbit hole, and I don't think they're coming back.
-
@chrisbaskind LOL its a hole that has to end ;)
-
@chrisbaskind they did a good job w/convos & the timeline is unique. I'll save the dancing bananas, dinos, & games for goddaughter time tho
-
@exador23 Of the dozen or so people I know who got Plurked, all are 24 or younger. I have shoes older than they are.
-
@tjgillies I plead the 5th.
-
@chrisbaskind I guess that means I'm getting old cuz Plurk sucks and I don't see how anyone can think otherwise
-
@chrisbaskind hah! My biggest prob is they've made Karma into something of fake value like money. Work towards a bigger banana - no thanks.
-
@rahsheen My 15 year old is still up. Asked him to look at the site. "Hey, that's cool!" Yup: could be generational.
-
@exador23 Thank you for the welcome ;)
-
@chrisbaskind hrm...maybe I should have my brother take a look, then. At least it would get him started in Social Media :)
-
@rahsheen Now you're making lemonade. ;-)
-
@chrisbaskind which brings up a point to be considered by parents: µblogs have potential to be way more useful to predators than myspace
-
jejejejeje so nice
