      @heathenx sounds good, with openssh its easier if you make your box a domain controller and then run the mkpasswd.exe

      @trixtur: well, openssh was my first choice. i got a winxp box that i want ssh into on my lan here at home. don't want to use samba.

      @heathenx makes sense, all I was saying is that if you made your XP box a domain controller then it could pull the passwords from the domain
