   My old Pentium-4 with IDE HDD runs !ubuntu #karmik too slow after upgrade, what happened?

     @cyberone On my laptop I also find it being periodically a bit unresponsive. Even the mouse stutters sometimes. Process management to blame?

     @noteither, I have 512mb, but it was fast enough week ago, I've apt-get ipgraded today and it slowed down, I've changed PC, but it's no good
