     @maco My first distro ran GNOME, thus I'm familiar with it; KDE has some impressive apps (AmaroK!)--the interface is cluttered though !linux

     @wolfgangcm when Kubuntu would have a graphical way to enable ctrl+alt+bksp but Ubuntu wouldn't & i whined about choices...i sounded kde-ish

     @maco Good point. #GNOME's overly-zealous focus on simplicity is probably its greatest flaw. Yet some #KDE apps go to the other extreme.
