@BUGabundo I don't need more (at the same time) - I just need Fx to be portable - i.e. leave no traces on host OS

@marjoleink what is "Fx" (sorry to ask such a dumb question)
-
@rjeffries "Fx" is abbrev for "Firefox" (officially)
-
@bugabundo: oh, and i'm in the middle of watching Doctor Who.
-
@rjeffries: I think she means Firefox, right @marjoleink?
-
@rjeffries Fx = Firefox I believe
-
@gamerchick02, right :)
-
@jasonriedy colinux.org? what is that in reference to? I'm afraid you've lost me!
-
Instead of wrestling with multiple Fx installations, perhaps virtualization, @marjoleink?
-
@jasonriedy I don't see myself virtualizing a machine in an internet cafe - I just need portable apps that run on Windows and Mac
-
@jasonriedy they may be different builds or even equivalent apps with same functionality; and they should not require booting
-
qemu-based virt. systems just appear as applications, @marjoleink. No booting required...
-
But I don't know how much support there is in Windows, @marjoleink.
-
@jasonriedy which is what 99.999% of internet cafes run...
