is no longer updating identi.ca, nor monitoring it. Sorry. I'm @jamescridland at Twitter; please use that and follow me there.

@jamescridland The clue was always there for all to see. No avatar. Just a grey, neutral face. Have fun on the dark (or grey) side :-)

@dwd If @jamescridland is so clever, why is he using a legacy microblogging platform and ditched #identica ?

@andyc Audience. But I think using #xmpp as a µblogging platform is still a better solution than #identi.ca

@andyc How come you don't like #twitter (closed data silo) yet you like #disqus (closed data silo)? I don't see a difference.

@dwd I think he likes Disqus because it prevents me polluting his blog with my stupid comments

@dwd Although I just make them here instead, so I fail to see the benefit

@dwd I use multiple closed data silos (gMail, gDocs, Diigo, Tumblr, FriendFeed). My objections to Twitter are more than the 'closed' element

@dwd Since joining #identica I am more aware about the implications of my use of 'closed data silos' e.g Google's decision to can Notebook.

@andyc I've used #drupal a lot to set up podcasting sites with the audio module and the flexibility is amazing, linuxoutlaws.com is Drupal

@dwd Disqus have an API - if I was clever enough I could write a #Habari plugin to sync Disqus comments into my Habari blog. But I'm not.
