     @mike shouldn't turning off IM updates be enough? I am confused - where does twhirl and IM collide?

     @jamuraa I think you need to have IM updates (in Identi.ca settings) on. I would get a Gtalk message and a Twhirl message.

     @jamuraa But if you don't have any trouble, then don't sweat it. It was frustrating me. Maybe we have a different setup.

     @mike seems to work fine. I just got those 2 dents just like normal in twhirl, no peep from IM.
