     @dwa haven't tried those, but ikiwiki has a large userbase and it's used extensively by a number of !debian developers, which makes it good.

     @steko checking it out... appears I can get up and running right away with static files and add git later (when I have *learned* git) #linux

     @dwa I use foswiki and ikiwiki; FW only uses RCS but has nicer default look IMHO; both good for what you're after

     @aracnus yes... looks good but I would also like to learn about git and a 'wiki generator' like ikiwiki seems well-suited for that
