Kate started second grade today. year-round school is so unnatural.

@terrisca Your daughter? I agree with the year-round school thing...although I believe studies show it is better for the students.

@terrisca I didn't realize year-round school was in place anywhere. I'm assuming she did the year round thing for 1st grade too?

@gusper Yes, and kindergarten. Its popularity is growing along with Montessori in the US. I guess trendy is the word to use with Montessori.
