      #isummit08 Another good session would be on discussing CC jurisdiction prioritization on increasing license usage

      @rejon Exactly. I don't want to bust up the flow, but it's overdue.

      @evan Sapporo, really? )-: Come down to Benelux for good beer! (-: I'll be here for another hour, at least.

      @karlw3c I need a word or something to put on the "Send" button in identi.ca. "Envoyer" is too big, overflows. Hack b4 fixing layout.

      @evan ah. guess it's obvious I'm a beer geek, then (-:

      @evan As someone mentioned earlier, "Go" could be a good alternative for now.

      @evan cool you are using my cclanguage code? I need to release that...

      @evan what about the noun. "Envoi"

    • Karl Dubost Karl Dubost

      @evan if you want to use "poster" Then it has to be "Postez" = Send i.e. Imperative form. (Poster = To Send)

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:21:50 UTC
    • Evan Prodromou Evan Prodromou Karl Dubost

      @karlw3c Reeeeallly? I'm totally at a loss to understand why "Envoyer" would work but not "Poster".

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:24:35 UTC
    • Karl Dubost Karl Dubost

      @evan For envoyer, you would have to use Envoyez ;)

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:25:26 UTC
    • vincent vincent

      @evan "Poster" does work. Envoyer = Send, and Poster = Post/Posting.

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:28:34 UTC
    • vincent vincent Karl Dubost

      @evan And it's "Envoyer", not "Envoyez" as @karlw3c said. I verified on a french version of Gmail to be absolutely sure.

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:31:40 UTC
    • Jean-François Amadei Jean-François Amadei

      @evan "Envoi" seems a good equivalent to "envoyez/r"

      @evan sending in ~ envoi

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:33:28 UTC
    • Karl Dubost Karl Dubost vincent

      @vincent :) can gmail be wrong ;) I'm French. I can assure you, that Envoyer (= to send) is the infinitive form, and not an action.

    • aline aline

      @millette je t'ai bien cité? :p

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:37:26 UTC
    • Evan Prodromou Evan Prodromou Karl Dubost

      @karlw3c But isn't the infinitive used occasionally where the imperative would be? Short for, I dunno, "Pour *poster*, veuillez appuyer ici"

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:38:48 UTC
    • aline aline

      @evan résolument "envoi", concis et sans ambiguité

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:39:51 UTC
    • aline aline vincent

      @vincent le mieux c'est pas forcément gmail pour vérifier la traduction...je veux pas être mauvaise langue, mais bon :-)

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:40:48 UTC
    • aline aline Karl Dubost

      @karlw3c effectivement...

      Thursday, 31-Jul-08 03:41:12 UTC
    • vincent vincent Karl Dubost

      @karlw3c French is also my 1st language, but envoyez doesn't sound right to me, I might be wrong though. I'll take a look at other sites. :)
