    main learning from the weekend: spend more time searching for a working hub from where I can post, too

      @planetsab right click dock/sys tray icon, select 'reset windows' will bring them back

      @planetsab prefs - hide when minimized ;-)

      @marcokaiser Clicking on the twhirl icon in the systray always seems to minimize the windows first. I have to click on it again to show wins

      @jauderho that's a left click - you have to right-click (or ctrl-click on OSX) to get the context menu

      @tapioliller you da man. thank you for spelling out what @marcokaiser and @chris97 were trying to say #dau #squared

      @marcokaiser To clarify, I'm right clicking to try to switch focus. But the first right click on the systray minimizes things instead.

      @jauderho weird, it should (and does for me) open the context menu... Hmmm

      @marcokaiser Oops. My bad. I meant first left-click minimizes. Right-click context menu works fine. =)

      @jauderho that's currently the expected behavior with the sys tray icon and minimize/restore

      Wednesday, 28-Jan-09 21:32:18 UTC
    • Jauder Ho Jauder Ho Marco Kaiser

      @marcokaiser Shouldn't clicking on the systray icon always bring the windows to the front? That's how things behave with other apps.

      Wednesday, 28-Jan-09 21:34:20 UTC
    • Marco Kaiser Marco Kaiser Jauder Ho

      @jauderho that's usually the behavior of a double click on a sys tray icon

      @marcokaiser Hmm. I'll try that out. Thx.

      @jauderho not saying it does that in twhirl now ;)

      @marcokaiser Heh. I guess it's an implied feature request then =)

      @jauderho let"s say I take it as that ;)
