   Meh, I tried writing a GoodReads<->LibraryThing sync but slammed into a LT import bug and no resp to my report yet. Not super impressed.

     @spang Hey, re GoodReads <-> LibraryThing, anything useful for unsiloing data from the latter? What was the bug?

     @dato You can export at least some chunk of your data from both in CSV and similar formats. Not sure how complete the exports are.

     @dato The bug is http://www.librarything.com/topic/82555 (the presence of options for how to deal with dupes suggests this SHOULD work).

     @spang Oh, wow. I managed to miss the export to CSV link, or it wasn't there when I looked. Thanks! (And g'luck with the bug.)

     @dato lt has had export to CSV since very, very early on in LT's lifespan- at least three years, I think?

     @dato yeah, I think they don't talk about it much, but it was something l looked at when they first announced- export is a must for me
