Is there a verifying CD audio ripper for Linux like EAC does on Windows?
-
@blizzard I like 'grip', it lets you pick your speed/paranoia tradeoff.
-
@eythian I thought grip was long unmaintained. Not to mention libcdparanoia is very old too :(
-
@nemo I dunno. I still use it because it works great.
-
@eythian ahh, was remembering http://ur1.ca/l6b4 and had missed this: http://ur1.ca/l6b6 ...cache handling updated :)
-
@eythian http://sourceforge.net/projects/grip/ ...4.5years since last release :( I still use abcde for happy scriptable ripping :)
-
@nemo I wish I had time to take over grip maintenance. It's a worthwhile project I think.
-
@eythian yes, I recall it being very decent, for my usage. It reminded me strongly of my favourite win3.1 CD app (confusingly named "cddb")
-
@eythian i can't believe all the apple fanboys on the nzoss list, its about open source, not the companies who are parasites on it
-
@ranginui yeah, I think it's just an effect the Jobs Reality Distortion Field has on them.
-
@ranginui yes, just because Apple does shiny does not mean they do FLOSS
