@notafish what distro are you on? #opensuse have a community repo from their #buildservice which has lots of additional plasmoids
-
@njg234908 I'm on kubuntu intrepid :/
-
@notafish You can find plasmoids here: http://is.gd/i5rz !kde
-
@notafish as replied by @mtux you can also get them from http://kde-look.org - installation can be a bit more of a hassle though

@notafish, curieux, j'ai déjà vu ton pseudo qqpart ... ;-)
-
@notafish are you sure there are no additional plasmoid packages available for #kubuntu? you may find help over at http://forum.kde.org !kde
-
@notafish ooooh debian based. See if you have a kdeplasma-addons package. That should get you a whole new set of toys
-
@njg234908 I was having memory issues with plasma until I stopped using kdetwitter ! kde
-
@dhraakellian Thanks - I am using kdetwitter so will try removing it and see if it makes any diff !kde
-
@osku marrant, moi aussi ;-)
-
@skreech2 haha, that might work (the kdeplasma-addons), it's not compatible with digikam though ;-). Trying anyway.
-
@notafish if you run kde 4.2 from kubuntu-experimental, then you should try digikam from digikam-experimental
-
@notafish kde4 digikam for intrepid is here https://launchpad.net/~digikam-experimental/+archive/ppa
-
@dhraakellian Having got rid of kdetwitter from my desktop, #plasma experience in #kde 4.2 is 100% better - it's only using about 20 meg now

Use "!" if you're addressing a group: ur1.ca/1gux and "#" if you're talking about a topic or keyword: ur1.ca/1guy (examples from @njg234908)
