A URL for #webappwednesday might be nice. http://friendshelf.appspot.com/

@metajack Thanks for the feedback on FriendShelf! What heuristic do you think makes the most sense for front-page recommendations?
-
@webmaven Popularity either by total likes/dislikes or just seed it with a few well connected people's data?
-
@metajack BTW, I've been using !waw instead of #webappwednesday. What do you think?
-
@webmaven When I search for me there are no results, which is correct, but the page doesn't say there aren't any; it's just blank.
-
@webmaven I'm not a big fan of the new design or the silly !perl !like !group !syntax.
-
@metajack I can't stand the new design. It's like they went backwards. Loved the old site.

@metajack for the FriendShelf front page, do you want *people* or *books*?
-
@rakaur Wow. That's pretty strong. Are there particulars you don't like?
-
@metajack Good point on the empty FriendShelf result page. I'll add something better there. thanks for the feedback. !waw #webappwednesday

@evan It's not that it's poorly designed or anything, I just don't care for the colors. Too bland for me. Too much like boring Twitter.

@webmaven I want books, but behind the scenes people have to be involved since friendfeed is a social space.
-
@evan It's ugly en ordinary. http://identi.ca/notice/1952426 http://identi.ca/notice/1947779 Each his preference I guess.
