   Will we have to wait until !Kubuntu 10.04 to get KDE 4.4? I hope not.

     @todd1215 No you can upgrade via a Repo look at !kubuntu website for more details. One of the nice perks of KDE on Ubuntu :)

     @dandart I didn't have RC1 but I had RC2 and was bitten by the Qt 4.6.1 / workspace crash bug.

     @dandart I think downgrading is messy. I just reinstalled to get KDE 4.3 back

     @dandart I tried to follow a few posts that said to remove kde4 and kde4-core but that didn't do anything but make it worse.

     @gobnuts Shoudln't be available as backports since they are not a bugfix but I'll find out if they will be moved there later

     @skreech2 I actually meant the backports ppa, as opposed to the the karmic backports, got both enabled but not the beta ppa ;)
