@scobleizer the difference being, identi.ca is distributed and OSS, you can run your own mblogging service.

@edd having problems with outgoing jabber messages from this new server. I'll check it before sleeping; it's the last killer bug here.

I agree with @scobleizer, mainly because alpha geeks tend to be early adopters and OSS supporters.
