     @salout Indeed I haven't tried #kile, #texmate; I don't feel the need. I mention LyX mostly to LaTeX-capable Joe Q. User types. #editorwar

     @salout I'm not sure which of those !emacs cannot do, unless you're really used to #kate (I'm not). auctex+reftex beats it hands down IMO
