@marcusharrison You are mixing your terms there :) What you meant to say was "visual art/motion art/musical art" and i like separate apps ;)

@marcusharrison Also note that i did not mention "audio art", which would be different from "musical art"... music includes music videos :)

@marcusharrison I'm not really sure why I'd want to have image viewing as part of an audio or video player. !kde

@marcusharrison Both? Kontact and Konqui work like that. quite Unix and !kde but mixes both worlds. Nepomuk should do the same.

@foxblitzz Photos dude, photo slideshows. Although it's not a necessary feature.

@skreech2 Sort of... Both Konqi and Kontact are shells around kparts which do the larger part of the work :)

@leinir Right. Used to listen to music, Watch videos & images from Konqui. AllIn1 but could get deeper functions from the same apps.

@leinir Oh and if the standalone apps were updated then Kontact/Konqui got magically better. How is that not a win?

@skreech2 Not at all saying that the kparts method is not a win - in fact,quite the opposite :) They are not monoliths,they're all unixy! :)

@ikaruga2099 But what do photos have to do with music or video playback? They require a completely different kind of interface.

@foxblitzz I used to use tcpmp on palm and it used the same interface for music,video, and photos just fine. But yeah it was basic photo sup
