I'd like to give a tutorial on some advanced !linux utilities, like #colordiff, #awk/#sed, #screen, etc. what else would make your list?

@deepspawn I'm a CS undergrad, and I think Linux computers at my university are underutilized because students don't understand them.

@deepspawn yeah, redmine trunk uses rails 2.2.x. It also has some regressions... that't why I don't use trunk

@deepspawn took me 3 hours on day one and there wasnt any dependencies included, so I can't think it would take me more than this now :S

The problem is that I would really have to have accounts on 4 laconica instances because of what @deepspawn just said

@pm really? For me it was pretty much like, get source, configure and start. Getting all running is another story (like queues and xmpp)

@deepspawn yeah, I was talking a few hours to setup xmpp, memcached, the daemons and queues. Just installing it is 5 minutes these days
