    Has anyone out there tried !lubuntu I have never used the !LXDE desktop and I am looking for opinions. I currently run !xubuntu

      @djbailey I haven't used Lubuntu, but I sometmes use LXDE on #Xubuntu.

      @djbailey I like it. Clean, spare look, but pretty. Seems about as quick as Xfce. Pcmanfm not as good as Thunar.

      @lnxwalt somewhere between pcmanfm and thunar is xfe (not to be confused with xfce)

      @djbailey I used !lubuntu for about 6 months, and it worked well. !xubuntu does better when !virtualbox switched screen resolution.
