     @lukas Did you do a dist-upgrade from Hardy? In the past I always had trouble with the LTS releases, but 10.04 finally seems to work for me.

     @phw Nope, clean install on a new disk. It seems to be a known problem, there are tons of bug reports about it since early Alpha versions.
