@marinamartin there are people who are upset by the fact that "laconi.ca" is almost never used to describe the service.

@evan - i think that SMS-to-the-phone might be a 3rd party commercial opportunity, but i'm not sure how that fits with the OSD

@steveivy It's also a commercial opportunity for us, and it's become more attractive as Twitter is no longer providing the svc for free.

@evan: I think 140 characters is a great limiting factor. It's like a haiku; express your ideas as succinctly and elegantly as possible.

@raster: not easily and not from everywhere - and it would limit my option to email from anything else ...

@raster each sender email address would have to be validated in turn + hard from the phone cause receiving email is even harder than sending
