   Can anyone recommend a !linux gui front end for #mencoder or #ffmpeg ? I want to change sizes and encodings for videos.

     @ghodmode vlc does a swell job; try PiTiVi also; and in !u #lucud there's a new app for that, can't recall the name and haven't tested yet.
