   I wonder why my Blood Sugar Sex Magik MP3s are so much quieter than all my other RHCP ones. May need to re-rip those, I think.

     @gmb: no, you don't. They are correct. Just later RHCP albums were very loud. Too loud, in fact. See: The Loudness War.

     @greg: Ah, of course. Thinking about it, I've been listening to a lot of recent albums in the last week, so the difference was more obvious.
