@kshep Essential viewing. Sounded better then they looked :-)
-
@andyc yes u can unfollow. I do it from Twhirl
-
@stevegillmor I use the Operator Extension in FF and all those profile avatars turn into contact names on my FF Toolbar with Microformats
-
@kshep I was thinking, "Man, how'd REM get on Letterman in 1983?" Then I remembered that DL was really hip in 1983. Weird times.
-
@stephen if that works for you, great. sounds complex to provide names for a braindead service that has hijacked conversations
-
@stevegillmor Weird. You can unfollow from Thwirl but not from Web. Your helpful advice has earned you a stay of execution. Thanks :-)
-
@andyc now that was counterproductive. was so hoping for my first identica unfollow
-
@stevegillmor What you need an unfollow wheel of fortune (shaped like an @). Lucky unfollowers walk away with a brand new social graph!
-
@stevegillmor OK Steve I have to ask - what is it with the anti '@' campaign - do you think s/w should be clever enough to infer a 'Reply' ?
-
@micah nice
-
@andyc the anit preply campaign is in truth a pro-track campaign, something Twitter killed for buissiness reasons. Identi.ca has track
-
@evan - got yer email, will try to whip that out tonight
-
@steveivy a scene from Blazing Saddles was summoned by you - "Excuse me while I whip this out" ... :)

@evan Re: Google vs Netscape, in what way? That Google dominates like NS once did, or that Google will be irrelevant in a few more years?
-
@mcnee Google has a lock on a key part of the Web, like Netscape did in 1998. That gives it leverage, just like NS had; MAYBE overstated.
