so what IRC client do Gnome folks like to use? I want to get the full not-KDE experience here.

@wolfger: I'm an irssi fan now, but check out XChat (or XChat-GNOME if it suits you).
-
@wolfger I prefer BitchX but I'm a text dude. ;-)
-
@wolfger forget that #gui crap... use irssi! :) http://irssi.org/ mmm... #perl scripting.
-
@bentpipe hell yeah. console apps all the way.
-
@hochmann mutt, slrn, vim, I feel so old. ;-)
-
@bentpipe not old, versatile! :-P I <3 vim, mutt, irssi, mc, and everything else text-y and good.
-
@hochmann hehe-- I need that on a shirt!
-
@bentpipe: man, I used BitchX *forever* ago when I ran Blackbox... I forgot all about it.
-
@wolfger: I use irssi + screen for IRC, but I've used XChat or Pidgin / Gaim.
-
@snapl: dime day? Wouldn't that be 10/10? You're a bit early.
-
@wolfger: Talking about "Dimebag" Darrel Abbot, the guitarist for Pantera and a slew of other bands. Born 8/20
-
@wolfger: You don't know my employer. I might give it a shot again.
-
@wolfger I prefer weechat
-
@wolfger irssi 98% of the time x-chat when I can't use irssi
-
@wolfger Will you be at Gnomedex?
-
@marinamartin no, but try the meatballs.
-
@marinamartin: no Gnomedex for me. Ohio Linux Festival, yes... #olf
-
@jackdaw I guess that's why their forum is called "Pointless Waste of Time" (or something like that).
