Loving the new, gorgeous Google! Well done to them for finally moving on from the boring white.

@fabsh new google?!?! talking about http://ixquick.de/? =)
-
@fabsh this looks like Bing's search page. It looks good, but I hate that they had to rip off Bing to do it.
-
@fabsh wow... is is TERRIBLE ! google was always great because of the simplicity of the page. they ruined it!
-
@yamatt the bing page looks much better. it's not so overwhelming...
-
@th3k4ty you can always keep it blank, if you wish...
-
@th3k4ty yeah, Bing is less cluttered.
-
@mcastel i know, i use igoogle anyway. But I often use it on computers in the lab where i'm not changing anything...
-
@fabsh yuk. they are going all Bing on me. Thank goodness for Google.co.uk/FireFox
-
@rpcutts Bing looks good. That's the only thing it does well. Kinda like a porn star...
-
@th3k4ty Really? You can turn it off.... ;)
-
@yamatt Who cares. Everybody steals from everyone else. It's life...

@fabsh I don't like it but no matter because I use Chrome at home with the speed dial thing as the new tab page.
-
@fabsh I just kind of thought that Google was more imaginative than that. Now animated background, that would be the killer feature :P
-
@fabsh, I hate calling the reuse of existing ideas as "stealing". We should place a positive connotation on reusing good ideas.
-
@yamatt That would bee distracting. This is perfect and actually may more stylish than Bing IMO.
-
@rpcutts I always use Chrome. On the notebook, netbook and Chrome lite on my phone actually... ;)
-
@bkuhn Yep, I just said "stealing" because everybody else does. If it was stealing, Bing's picture would be gone, actually.... ;)
-
@fabsh It also loads noticeably slower though :/ And despite the AJAX, it still is unresponsive before loading completed.
-
@fabsh: I'm using Chrome more and more and I feel disloyal to Mozilla, who first put FOSS in front of me. ridiculous really :)
-
@nailuj Not on my system....
-
@silner You poor, poor man! Maybe you should sue Google....
-
@fabsh oh! I see! the "blue"... ixquick claims to protect your privacy by not recording your ip-address...
-
@stephwho Ah, OK. :)
-
@fabsh as I got this hint from a "data protection officer" it's quite likely...
-
@bkuhn "borrowing" "recycling" "building on" "reusing" - feel free to steal any of those... ;-)
-
@bkuhn In the education of artisans reuse of good ideas was conceived not as 'stealing' but as (respectful) imitation to learn the craft.
