   I get no sound from my creative X-Fi in !kernel 2.6.35 RC1 in !ubuntu - did something change regarding the card in the kernel?

     @khaal Please reproduce it using the mainline 2.6.35-rc3 build.

     @crimsun lazy as i am, i pull my kernels from kernel-ppa in #ubuntu. And for some odd reason,RC3 is avaible only for Maveric, not Lucid...

     @khaal hmm? http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.35-rc3-maverick/ means it's compiled using the maverick .config.
