   !ubuntu #lucid on a vaio S11e7e: keyboard backlight always on when typing (on battery!) :( (i wish I could just turn it off completely)

     @marcvs: I had a issue like this with screen brightness jumping 100% on boot, had to force proc/acpi/video to dim it down

     @pyrus thank you, had that issue but now is solved. I was speaking about keyboard backlight (my laptop's keyboard is retro-illuminated)
