   @tegowanu there are two packages. evolution back end, and evolution mail client. Don't remove the back end. You can remove the client.

     @mohanpram @tegowanu Don't remove the Evolution back end (dependencies for other stuff too). But the application itself can go.

     @tegowanu Only bits of #evolution I have installed in !Ubuntu are evolution-data-server-common and evolution-webcal and everything works.
