@dana yes/like, yes/not my thing, yes/like, no

@dana Is a furuncle like a carbuncle?
-
@stoneymoss I'll have to check out both your suggestions. I tried "Rescuing Sprite" b/c everyone at work loved it, and I HATED it...
-
@stoneymoss ... I've never been so sad that a book was so popular. It was really overwhelmingly awful.
-
@stoneymoss Another anti-tip #book, though not a #dog one: Water for Elephants. Really disappointing. Tried hard to like it.
-
@stoneymoss Ha! I open my big mouth and offend a #book you <3. That's my whole unloved list. I don't dislike many, but that #book...
-
@stoneymoss rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't find the narrator believable. Nor the plot. Sigh.
-
@blythe It's the way of things. No offense taken. Sometimes books & people just don't match. Sometimes over-hype ruins it, too.
-
@blythe Oh, I know you know you didn't offend *me*. Ha! back.
-
@stoneymoss My state of mind when I read W for E may have played into it too. I felt too busy to read but tried anyway, and just ended up...
-
@stoneymoss extremely frustrated. I doubt it would have been a fave anyway, but it may deserve more credit than I've given it. #book
-
@stoneymoss Some of my fave books (non-poetry): The House on Mango Street, The Power of One, Brother I'm Dying, to name a few. And you?
-
Passing on good thoughts and hugs to @dana. She knows why.
-
@blythe i put up a prompt for bout rime on the po-co– http://tinyurl.com/5mzut6
-
@blythe did you read house on mango in Spanish? I listened to it in my car. One of my favorite memoirs. Let's write a poem en español, k?
-
@yoginipoet I would love to see some collaborative #poetry in Spanish (which I am only competent in enough to read, not to write).
-
@blythe And adore Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I wish I knew Spanish and could read & write with you & @yoginipoet. And read with @morningporch.
-
@yoginipoet Yes, that one and El arroyo de la Llorona!! Changed my life. And I'm kind of obsessed with Cisneros. Went to school in her...
-
@yoginipoet neighborhood and dreamed of writing her the whole four years I was there, but never had the balls to do it. :(
-
@yoginipoet I am half-thrilled you asked me to write in Spanish and half-scared. I really want to but I might be kinda slow. I've only...
-
@yoginipoet ...written one in Spanish before, ever. It's extra-scary. But I like #scary, so let's do it! #poetry #spanish
-
@yoginipoet Oh, and thanks for the bout rime reminder. It's on my list to do. It looks great, and I love the words you chose.
